How To Destroy Angels is a collaboration Trent Reznor and his wife Mariqueen Maandig (I love her name). Just from the one track I've heard on Pitchfork (you can listen to it here) I can say that I'm super excited to hear more. It reminds me a lot of Portishead or Massive Attack (both of which I would recommend). Mariqueen's voice is so soothing and ethreal and blends with the soundscapes created so well. I love it. One of the first things I thought after listening to the track was that I wish I had more to listen to while I painted. It's the perfect dreamy music to listen to when you're in a creative mood. I can't wait until they release their EP.
