Quilts!

Early in our military adventure we did a stint in Florida. It was hot, humid, we lived out in the middle of nowhere, and I was very pregnant...so I taught myself to quilt! I'd crank up the AC, pop in a re-run of Gilmore Girls and sew sew sew. YouTube was my on hand teacher. It's amazing all the videos people post when it comes to quilting. That Christmas I gifted every woman in my family with a quilt. 7 quilts total! Not bad for my first go around. Sadly I don't have any pictures of them which is also the reason behind this post. I have very few pictures compared to the number of quilts I've made, by my count I'm missing 10. So help! If I ever gifted you with one, will you send me a picture? Today is my youngest's birthday. How in the world did he get to be 2? This was by far the fastest year! Thankfully his daddy is home to celebrate it with him for the first time ever! I couldn't be more thrilled! So keep an eye out for a second post to commemorate the birthday boy's day! Happy Thursday y'all!
